Early Years Lead Practitioner

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become an Early Years Lead Practitioner at MAYBEL NURSERIES LIMITED in West Norwood. You will work alongside the management team to provide high-level professional leadership and management to playroom staff, ensuring children receive the highest standards of care and education. Key responsibilities include understanding and implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum, ensuring child safety and welfare through safeguarding knowledge, conducting child observations and assessments, demonstrating strong knowledge of the current Early Years Inspection Framework, and maintaining health and safety awareness. You will also need knowledge of the Special Educational Needs Code of Practice and relevant support systems. The role offers a clear career progression path with an offer of permanent employment upon successful completion and has a duration of 2 years.
