About the role

This apprenticeship at Mary Potter Pharmacy offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. You will be involved in dispensing medication, assisting with over-the-counter sales, checking prescription slips, and maintaining health and safety standards. The role also includes stock rotation, using patient record systems, data entry, and labelling medication. You will develop accuracy, attention to detail, and work effectively within a team. Collaboration with doctors and health professionals is key, alongside timely completion of apprenticeship work. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication, customer care, organisation, and patience skills, who can also speak Urdu or Punjabi. Upon completion, there is potential for a permanent position and progression to a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship.
