About the role

As an Apprentice Vehicle Damage Paint Technician, you will work as part of a highly skilled workforce that is committed to quality, preparing, spraying and finishing vehicles that have been involved in collisions and other incidents. The successful candidate can expect a high-quality training package with excellent career prospects. Duties include the repair of minor scratches and dents, preparation of new and repaired panels for refinishing, preparing vehicle surfaces for masking and priming, and paint refinishing techniques. You will also be involved in paint detailing and buffing, and polishing paintwork to a suitable finish. Entry requirements

  • GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, logic, teamwork, initiative, patience, and physical fitness.
