About the role

NOVA Automotive Group is seeking an Apprentice Vehicle Damage MET Technician to join their skilled workforce. This role involves stripping and refitting vehicle parts, rebuilding suspension, and resetting geometry to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. The apprenticeship offers a high-quality training package with excellent career prospects in the automotive repair industry. The apprentice will work alongside a mentor in a state-of-the-art bodyshop, with no college attendance required. Upon completion, the apprentice will achieve a Level 3 Vehicle Damage Mechanical, Electrical and Trim (MET) Technician qualification, a certification in Refrigerant Handling, and Level 2 Maths and English Functional Skills if not already achieved. Potential for permanent employment and progression to roles such as Workshop Controller, Vehicle Damage Assessor, or Bodyshop Manager.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4/C or above. Desired skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, analytical, logical thinking, teamwork, initiative, and physical fitness.
