About the role

As an Apprentice Vehicle Damage Paint Technician at NOVA Automotive Group, you will join a skilled team dedicated to the quality preparation, spraying, and finishing of vehicles damaged in collisions. This apprenticeship offers a high-quality training package with excellent career prospects. Duties include repairing minor scratches and dents, preparing panels for refinishing, masking, priming, and various paint detailing and buffing techniques to achieve a suitable finish. You will gain practical experience in a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, supported by a skilled mentor and a high-quality training program. Upon completion, you will achieve a Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard Vehicle Damage Paint Technician. The company is looking for someone with a genuine passion for cars, patience, dedication, and a drive to learn, with potential career progression to roles such as workshop controller, Vehicle Damage Assessor, or Bodyshop Manager.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, logical thinking, teamwork, initiative, and patience are desired.
