About the role

Greens Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Apprentice Pharmacy Assistant. This role involves dispensing medication, managing over-the-counter sales, checking prescriptions, and maintaining health & safety standards. You will gain experience with patient record systems, data entry, and stock rotation. Key responsibilities include accurate labelling and dispensing, working effectively within a team, and liaising with healthcare professionals. The apprenticeship will also require timely completion of all apprenticeship coursework. Essential GCSEs in Maths and English (grade 4 or above) are required, alongside strong communication, customer care, organizational, and team working skills. Patience and a non-judgmental attitude are also important.
