About the role

Sterling Separation is offering an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to start a rewarding career as a Warehouse Apprentice. This role is an integral part of a successful warehouse team, focusing on a Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship. Key duties include receiving and checking goods for accuracy and damage, booking stock into ERP/warehouse systems, accurately picking and packing customer orders, preparing goods for dispatch and export, maintaining stock locations, and carrying out cycle counts and stock takes. The apprentice will also support supplier deliveries, loading/unloading, maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhere to FIFO and batch traceability, and assist with returns, warranty, and quality processes, while ensuring health & safety compliance and completing general admin and data entry. This position involves cross-site working between two locations in Cannock, WS11 0DG and WS11 9UU.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English grade 4, GCSE Maths grade 4. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, analytical thinking, logical reasoning, teamwork, initiative, and patience.
