About the role
This apprenticeship offers a 12-month, government-funded course leading to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing, provided by City & Guilds. The role involves assisting dentists, sterilizing and preparing equipment, handling reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Key responsibilities include providing chair-side support, managing patient queries and payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas. The position requires strong communication, organizational, customer care, and administrative skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team, show initiative, and maintain a non-judgemental and patient approach. Successful candidates will need to pass a DBS check and receive a Hepatitis B vaccination.
