About the role
The Mocha Diner is seeking a motivated individual for a Catering Assistant Apprenticeship. This role involves preparing traditional homemade meals, providing excellent customer service, and working weekends/bank holidays on a rota. While prior cooking experience is beneficial, it's not essential as full training will be provided. Key duties include preparing and cooking high-quality meals, handling customer orders and payments, assisting with opening/closing procedures, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, and collaborating with the team. The apprenticeship is for 1 year, working towards a Level 2 Production Chef apprenticeship, with opportunities to improve maths and English skills if needed.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or equivalent. Attention to detail, organisational skills, customer care skills, teamwork, initiative, patience, and physical fitness are essential.
