About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) engineer at British Airways. You will work alongside experienced professionals, inspecting aircraft and components in various environments, including the ramp, hangar, and technical workshops. The program focuses on developing your expertise in three NDT methods at Level 2, with a pathway towards a Level 3 Technician Apprenticeship. This hands-on role combines practical experience with in-depth technical training, preparing you for a critical role in aviation safety.

Entry requirements

  • Aged 16 by start date. Grade 5 (B) in Maths - predicted grades are accepted. English and Science GCSE at grade 9 – 4 (A* - C) is desirable.
