About the role

Embark on a 12-month government-funded Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing with City & Guilds. This apprenticeship at DR HINDOCHA LTD in Leicester will see you assisting dentists, sterilising equipment, managing reception duties, and enhancing the patient experience. Key responsibilities include chair-side support, handling patient queries, processing payments, booking appointments, sterilising instruments, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a positive patient journey. You will also be involved in stock management and general practice upkeep. This role requires excellent communication, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and administrative skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a team. Patience and a non-judgemental approach are essential. Applicants must be 19 or over due to insurance restrictions. The apprenticeship includes on-the-job training at the dental surgery, with potential for Functional Skills training if required. Upon successful completion, career progression opportunities include roles such as team manager, dental practice manager, or further training to become a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist. A DBS check and Hepatitis B vaccination are required.
