About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to become an Apprentice Dental Nurse at West Horsley Dental Practice Limited in Leatherhead. This 12-month government-funded course, accredited by City & Guilds, will lead to a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing. Your role will involve providing essential chair-side support to dentists, assisting with sterilisation and equipment preparation, handling reception duties, and contributing to a positive patient experience. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, managing queries, taking payments, booking appointments, maintaining patient records, ensuring the cleanliness of dental areas, and managing stock. Upon completion, you will gain valuable experience and can progress to roles such as team manager or dental practice manager. Further training could lead to becoming a dental therapist, hygienist, or orthodontic therapist.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
