About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience as an Equine Groom at a busy riding school and livery yard. You will be involved in all general yard duties, including mucking out, turning out horses, feeding, tacking up, and lunging. There will also be opportunities to assist with in-house competitions. For the right candidate, riding experience is available. The role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills. The apprenticeship is for a duration of 1 year, leading to a Level 2 qualification. Progression to a Level 3 Senior Groom role and the possibility of full-time employment upon completion are available. While no accommodation is provided, the location is accessible by public transport. Own horse livery may be possible for the successful applicant.
