About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Equine Groom Apprentice at EJL Stud and Livery, a reputable showing stud and competition yard. You will be involved in all general yard duties, including mucking out, keeping the yard tidy, and preparing horses for shows. The role also offers the chance to gain experience in grooming at competitions and learn about the breeding side of the business, including handling stallions and youngstock. While there may be some riding opportunities for the right candidate, this is primarily a non-ridden pathway. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with a passion for horses, excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to animal welfare. No accommodation is provided, so reliable transportation to the rural location is essential. Upon successful completion, there is potential for progression to a Level 3 Senior Groom apprenticeship and possibility of full-time employment.
