About the role

Anthony Clark Eventing is seeking a friendly and passionate Apprentice Equine Groom to join their team. This role involves comprehensive horse care duties, including turning out, mucking out, feeding, grooming, clipping, and tending to livery clients. The apprenticeship offers hands-on experience with a range of horses, from young to advanced/4-star, under the guidance of an international 4-star event rider with over 30 years of experience.

Key responsibilities include maintaining yard cleanliness, bandaging, tacking up, lunging, and riding/hacking. Working hours will vary seasonally, based on a rota. The apprenticeship is work-based, with potential for accommodation on-site and the option for apprentices to bring their own horse. Support will be provided to gain essential Maths and English qualifications if needed. Candidates must be competent in handling horses and meet residency requirements (UK resident or 3+ years in the EU). Note: Individuals with a Level 2 or 3 Equine qualification are not eligible for this programme.
