About the role
Are you passionate about giving children the best start in life? Montessori Moments Ltd is looking for caring and enthusiastic individuals to join their friendly team as an Early Years Educator. This Level 3 apprenticeship will involve supporting children aged 9 months to 5 years, acting as a key person to a small group, and making learning fun. You will liaise with parents and carers, ensuring each child's needs are recognised and met. Duties include working in partnership with families, reporting any concerns to the manager, teaching children through stimulating play, ensuring child safety and understanding child protection procedures. You will also participate in team meetings, supervision, and appraisal meetings, and be responsible for your personal development through required training courses. The employer, Montessori Moments, opened in September 2021 in Charlton House and provides a calm, harmonious environment for children to learn, play, and explore, with spacious, newly-refurbished facilities and access to gardens. The role requires passing a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, and upon successful completion, a permanent position may be offered. Training will be provided at the nursery location.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, alongside strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, analytical, logical, teamwork, creative, initiative, non-judgemental, patience, and physical fitness skills are desired.
