About the role
As an apprentice engineer at ATLAS UK, you will contribute to exciting and cutting-edge technical developments in support of UK national defence. You will be trained to become a future technical leader and Chartered Engineer. Duties include understanding product design fundamentals, using CAD software, learning product lifecycle management, maintaining engineering facilities, integrating components, and conducting laboratory and sea-based testing. You may also develop knowledge across multiple disciplines for product integration and testing.
Entry requirements
- A-Level Engineering Grade C, Maths Grade C, Physics Grade C, Product Design Grade C OR BTEC Engineering Pass. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, analytical, logical, team-working, initiative, enthusiasm, and self-motivation are also required.
