About the role

As an apprentice engineer at ATLAS UK you will be helping our teams from your very first day delivering exciting and cutting edge technical developments in support of UK national defence. You will be supported with the necessary training to provide you with the skills and experience to become a future technical leader and Chartered Engineer.

Duties will include: fundamentals of designing product components, efficient use of Computer Aided Design (CAD) and software tools, understanding of product lifecycle management principles, use and maintenance of engineering facilities, integration of components into products, and laboratory and sea-based testing of products. The role may require developing knowledge across multiple disciplines for integration and testing of world-leading products. The successful candidate must be able to achieve full SC (Security Clearance).

Entry requirements

  • Desired A-Levels in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or Product Design (Grade C), or BTEC Engineering (Pass). Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.
