About the role

As an apprentice engineer at ATLAS UK, you will contribute to exciting and cutting-edge technical developments in support of UK national defence. You will gain skills and experience to become a future technical leader and Chartered Engineer. Duties include learning product design fundamentals, using CAD software, understanding product lifecycle management, maintaining engineering facilities, integrating components, and performing laboratory and sea-based testing. You may also develop knowledge across multiple disciplines for product integration and testing. This role requires the ability to achieve full SC (Security Clearance).

Entry requirements

  • A-Levels in Engineering, Maths, Physics, or Product Design (Grade C), or BTEC Engineering (Pass). Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, analytical, logical, teamwork, initiative, enthusiasm, and self-motivation skills are also desired.
