About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to kickstart a career in finance with TUI UK LIMITED. As a Finance Assistant Apprentice, you will be an integral part of the Engineering and Maintenance Finance team, contributing to clear financial reporting, supporting decision-making, and cost-saving initiatives across a significant budget. You will gain hands-on experience assisting with airframe and powerplant cost bases, providing commercial support, and working on various maintenance reserves projects. The role involves assisting with month-end reports, budgeting, forecasting, cashflow, balance sheet checks, promoting good financial practices, ensuring consistent processes, and analyzing spending trends. This is an ideal role for someone with a passion for finance, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic and supportive environment. Upon completion, you will have the opportunity to progress to a Level 4 Accounting/Taxation Technician Apprenticeship and AAT qualification.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, and team working skills are essential. A passion for Finance is highly desirable.
