About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to build a long-term career in accountancy practice with TaxAssist in Hertford. You will gain exposure to a wide range of clients and work towards professional qualifications. Your duties will include reconciling bank transactions, processing invoices and financial records, assisting with bookkeeping, supporting VAT and MTD returns, preparing management and year-end accounts, and helping with payroll processing. You will also be responsible for responding to client queries and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication and IT skills, and a desire to develop professionally.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above.
