About the role

STEPHENSON COMMERCIALS LTD is seeking a motivated apprentice to join their growing team as a Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Technician. This apprenticeship offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of HGVs, trailers, and commercial vehicles. Responsibilities include performing routine servicing, preventative maintenance, major/minor repairs, and preparing vehicles for MOT and VOSA inspections. The role also involves accurate documentation, adherence to health and safety standards, and continuous professional development to stay abreast of industry advancements. Upon successful completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship, you will gain a nationally recognized qualification and may have the opportunity for long-term employment.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English: 4/C (Essential). Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills are also required. Punctuality, workplace maturity, professionalism, proactivity, high standards, inquisitiveness, willingness to learn, ability to prioritise workload, eagerness to learn, and multitasking abilities are essential.
