About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a skilled Vehicle Damage Panel Technician at Fix Auto Birmingham East, a long-established repair center. You will learn to prepare vehicles for repair, identify materials, interpret technical data, and master various joining techniques and manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities include removing, repairing, and replacing body panels, operating specialized tools and equipment, and identifying supplementary damage. The role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Upon completion, there are opportunities for permanent employment and progression to roles such as workshop controller or Bodyshop manager. The training is delivered by AUTO-ASSESS LIMITED, with no college attendance required, and you will be mentored by experienced professionals.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (Desired). Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.
