About the role

This Early Years Apprenticeship at Babraham Nursery offers a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in childcare. The role involves working four days a week in the nursery, with one day dedicated to college study. Apprentices will be responsible for the welfare and development of a group of young children, planning and supervising activities, and liaising with parents. The nursery provides excellent benefits, study support, and opportunities for career development. This role requires a genuine love for children, enthusiasm, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team. Successful candidates will undergo a DBS check and must be prepared to work with children up to five years old in all weather conditions and engage in messy play. Monthly staff meetings and special events are also part of the role, with time off in lieu provided.
