About the role
This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program for aspiring Machining Technicians. You will gain hands-on experience in CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Manual Milling, and Manual Turning. The role involves interpreting engineering drawings, applying precision measurement and inspection techniques, and understanding quality control processes. You will learn about materials and manufacturing processes, machine set-up and operation, and tool selection. Health and Safety in engineering environments, along with Lean Manufacturing principles, will be integral to your training. Upon successful completion, there is an opportunity to progress into a fully trained CNC Machinist/Engineer role with further development in programming, machine setting, and advanced manufacturing techniques.
