About the role
Gemimas House Childminding is seeking an Apprentice Childminder to support with various daily activities for children aged 0-5 years. Responsibilities include assisting with play activities, mealtimes, and daily routines. The apprentice will also be involved in setting up and tidying activities, planning engaging experiences, providing one-to-one support, and maintaining learning journeys for each child. A key aspect of the role is ensuring all children are engaged and activities are inclusive. Gemima's House is a nurturing, home-from-home setting that recently received a STRONG grading from Ofsted. The apprenticeship offers a supportive team environment, hands-on learning with nature walks and farm visits, and the potential for career progression to a permanent qualified childminder role. First aid training will be provided.

- GCSE English and Maths: 4/C or above (Desired).
