About the role

This Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship with New Invention Pharmacy offers a fantastic opportunity to join a community pharmacy and support the pharmacist and wider team. You will be involved in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including receiving, processing, and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently under supervision. Key responsibilities include assembling and labelling medicines, providing excellent customer service, answering routine queries, and managing stock levels. You will also ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhere to all pharmacy procedures, legal requirements, and confidentiality guidelines, and support with NHS and private prescription administration. This role involves working effectively as part of a team and completing all required apprenticeship training to develop knowledge and skills. Upon successful completion, progression to a permanent Pharmacy Services Assistant or Dispenser role is possible, with potential to advance to a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician apprenticeship.
