About the role

As an Apprentice Day Care Assistant at Rose Care Group, you'll join a friendly and supportive team, helping residents feel safe, comfortable and well cared for. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supporting residents with personal care, assisting with mobility, meals and drinks, following individual care plans, encouraging participation in activities, building positive relationships, monitoring and reporting changes in health, completing records, and maintaining a safe environment. This is a hands-on care role that can be physically demanding. Apprentices will commit to 6 hours of paid off-the-job training each week. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. The apprenticeship includes work-based training with a Learner Coach and an in-workplace mentor, with potential to gain Functional Skills in English and Maths. Reviews will be held every 12 weeks. You will be working towards a Health and Social Care Foundation Apprenticeship L2 Qualification over 8 months. Rose Care Group is committed to supporting staff development and career progression, with potential to progress onto further qualifications and management positions.
