About the role
As an Apprentice Day Care Assistant at Rose Care Group, you will join a friendly and supportive team, assisting residents with personal care, mobility, meals, and activities. You will follow individual care plans, promote dignity and independence, build positive relationships, monitor health changes, and maintain accurate records. This hands-on role involves physical demands and supporting residents with varying needs. Apprentices will complete 6 hours of paid off-the-job training weekly, included within the 30 hours. Training includes work-based learning with face-to-face sessions and remote calls, a workplace mentor, and functional skills in English and maths if needed. Reviews occur every 12 weeks. The apprenticeship is for a Health and Social Care Foundation Apprenticeship Level 2 Qualification over 8 months.
