About the role

HUGH STEEPER LIMITED is seeking an Apprentice Maintenance Technician to join their team in Leeds. This role involves working closely with experienced technicians to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's machinery, production equipment, and facilities. The apprentice will actively learn site-specific maintenance knowledge, including equipment history, repair techniques, and preventative maintenance. They will also collaborate with production and other departments to provide effective maintenance support, ensuring all work adheres to health and safety regulations. Responsibilities include reporting defects, participating in meetings, and actively engaging in internal and external training. The apprentice will be working towards completing a Level 3 Engineering Maintenance Technician - Dual Discipline apprenticeship, with a focus on developing technical competence and working with increasing independence.
