About the role

Gilbert Builders Ltd is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter to join their team. This apprenticeship offers hands-on training in various construction projects, including extensions, renovations, and new builds. You will learn practical carpentry skills, assist with material preparation, and use tools safely under supervision. The role involves site preparation, assisting with fitting components, and understanding construction drawings. Health and safety procedures are paramount. You will attend college one day a week to work towards a Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery Apprenticeship Standard. This role is physically demanding and involves working outdoors in all weather conditions. Upon successful completion, employment with Gilbert Builders will continue. Gilbert Builders is a family-run company with over 60 years of experience in East Anglia.
