About the role

You’ll learn how to prepare and cook dishes to a consistent standard, work safely with food and allergens, and help a kitchen to run smoothly. Most of your learning happens right here in our kitchens, working alongside experienced chefs you’ll build the skills and confidence to take the next step in your cooking career. At Butlin’s, dining is a huge part of the holiday experience. As one of our chefs, you’ll help create memorable moments through fantastic food. We serve up everything from American-style favourites and traditional fish and chips to chargrilled chicken and pub classics. You’ll support the smooth running of the kitchen by preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, maintaining excellent food hygiene standards and helping deliver an amazing experience for our guests. Previous experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential. What matters most is enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends. We’re looking for people who enjoy being part of a team and working in a lively environment. You’ll bring energy, passion and a positive ‘get stuck in’ attitude, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure and keep smiling during the busiest mealtimes.
