About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Supply Chain Apprentice at MAKITA MANUFACTURING EUROPE LIMITED. You will support production planning and supply chain activities, coordinating schedules, materials, and services to meet customer requirements. The role involves learning and applying continuous improvement techniques, using ERP/MRP systems, and assisting with inventory management. You'll also help identify supply chain risks and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. General tasks include promoting a continuous improvement culture, maintaining data integrity, and adhering to company policies and safety standards. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, develop their problem-solving skills, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Entry requirements

  • Grade 4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths GCSE. Basic IT skills including Microsoft applications. Strong written communication and numerical skills. Able to absorb new information, processes and systems quickly. A logical approach to solving problems and making decisions. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to completing work accurately. Confident communicating professionally by telephone and email. Able to organise competing priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment. Willing to take responsibility, use initiative and ask questions when needed. Dependable, punctual and committed to completing the apprenticeship. A positive, team-focused attitude and a genuine desire to build
