About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join Expeditors, a global logistics company, and earn your Level 3 International Freight Forwarding qualification. You will gain hands-on experience supporting the smooth movement of air freight, road freight, and customs shipments, including accurate data entry, shipment tracking, and customs clearance activities. The role involves professional communication with customers, overseas offices, carriers, and customs authorities. You will also assist with billing, invoicing, and maintaining shipment records, while adhering to company procedures and compliance regulations. The apprenticeship emphasizes learning freight-forwarding and customs procedures, following company policies, and providing excellent customer service. Upon completion, you will have a solid understanding of the freight forwarding industry, with potential for career progression within Expeditors and the wider freight industry.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths & English A*-C/4-9 desirable. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, presentation, administrative, number, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.
