About the role

This apprenticeship offers an exciting opportunity to become a Lead Adult Care Worker with Visiting Angels South Devon and Cornwall. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care to clients in their own homes, supporting personal care, meals, and daily routines while promoting dignity and independence. The role involves building trusting relationships, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to care plan reviews. As you develop, you will gain leadership skills by supporting new colleagues. This is a Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship, requiring GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above. Essential skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, teamwork, and a caring, compassionate approach. A full driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle are also required. Upon successful completion, there is a possibility of a permanent position.
