About the role

Start your career in logistics with cThings, a growing technology company on Cambridge Science Park. Get hands-on with smart devices, stock control and customer orders while working towards a nationally recognised Level 2 qualification. No experience needed-just an organised approach, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

As a Logistics Apprentice, you’ll join our Operations Team and help get our smart connected products ready for customers across the UK and internationally. Your week will combine practical logistics tasks, hands-on work with technology and learning towards your Level 2 Supply Chain Warehouse Operative qualification.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders, using Monday.com to organise your workload

Programming, configuring and registering smart devices on the cThings Cloud platform

Booking couriers, preparing shipping labels and delivery paperwork, and packing larger orders onto pallets

Sending customers dispatch confirmations, tracking information and device details

Receiving deliveries and checking stock against purchase orders

Recording and storing stock accurately, reporting shortages, damage or discrepancies

Helping with regular stocktakes and keeping storage and packing areas tidy and safe

Identifying faulty products and helping our Technical Support Team investigate.

You’ll receive training and support from experienced colleagues, building your confidence and taking on more responsibility as your skills develop. This role is based at Cambridge Science Park and involves practical tasks, including moving stock, lifting boxes and preparing larger orders on pallets. Training in safe manual handling will be provided. You’ll also spend time using computers to configure smart devices, manage orders and maintain stock records, so an interest in both logistics and technology would be helpful.
