About the role

IWIS DRIVE SYSTEMS LTD is seeking a motivated Warehousing Apprentice to join their Supply Chain team in Tipton. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start their career in warehousing and logistics. The apprentice will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of daily operations. Duties include picking and packing orders, cutting and assembling chains to specific customer requirements, operating machinery with training provided, booking in goods, checking deliveries, preparing items for dispatch, and handling handheld scanners and warehouse systems. The role also involves stock checking, basic SAP warehouse processes, assisting with loading and unloading, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and learning about the company's products and order processing flow. Full training will be provided throughout the apprenticeship.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English grade 4 or above. Desired skills include communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, number skills, analytical and logical thinking, teamwork, initiative, patience, and physical fitness.
