Care Assistant Apprenticeship

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Care Assistant and play a vital role in delivering person-centred care. You will ensure the well-being, needs, and preferences of service users are at the heart of all support provided. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, maintaining comfort and dignity, supporting community connections, and liaising with professional staff. The role involves up to 35 working hours per week.

This is a work-based training apprenticeship, meaning you won't need to attend college. Training is delivered through a blend of face-to-face sessions and remote calls with a dedicated Learner Coach every 6 weeks, alongside a workplace mentor. Regular reviews with your Line Manager and Learner Coach will provide feedback and support. At the end of the 15-month program, you will achieve an Adult Care Worker Level 2 Apprenticeship standard.
