About the role
Ruislip Stars Nurseries are seeking a new Early Years Apprentice to study towards their Early Years Educator apprenticeship L3. The role involves working with children, planning and delivering activities, supporting with school collections, adhering to safeguarding policies, and taking observations. The apprentice will monitor children's development, plan outings and cooking activities with risk assessments, attend parent review meetings, and act as a key worker. Domestic duties like snack preparation and cleaning are also involved. The role requires good communication, a positive attitude, and the ability to work as part of a team. Personal and professional development, including mandatory training and CPD logging, is expected. Liaising with parents, staff, and other professionals, and supporting children with special needs will also be part of the responsibilities. The apprenticeship includes 18 months of training leading to an Early Years Educator apprenticeship L3 qualification.
