About the role

Ruislip Stars Nurseries is seeking an Early Years Apprentice to join their team. The apprentice will study towards an Early Years Educator apprenticeship (Level 3). Duties include working with children, planning and delivering activities, supporting school pick-ups and drop-offs, adhering to safeguarding policies, observing and monitoring children's development, ensuring children have opportunities for safe outings and cooking activities, attending parent review meetings, acting as a key worker, assisting with domestic tasks, recording accidents/incidents, being a role model, maintaining a stimulating and safe environment, and ensuring the register is up to date. The role also involves working as part of a team, attending out-of-hours activities, developing within the team, supporting training for other students, and fostering a positive team ethos. Personal and professional development includes completing mandatory training, maintaining a CPD log, liaising with parents and professionals, supporting children with special needs, and ensuring children are collected by authorized individuals.
