About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Pre-school Apprentice at POPPETS CHILDCARE LIMITED in Kingston. You will contribute to a high-quality, caring environment for children, fostering their emotional, social, and educational development through individual attention and group activities. Duties include working with children, attending all required training, completing assignments on time, working collaboratively with the team, liaising with your mentor and manager, and assisting with the personal care needs of children such as washing and eating. You will also be responsible for participating in team meetings, providing adult-led interactions, and adhering to the setting's safeguarding, child protection, and other relevant policies. The role emphasizes contributing to good standards of safety, hygiene, and cleanliness, upholding equal opportunities, and developing strong partnerships with parents and staff. You will also be made aware of emergency procedures and health and safety policies. Upon successful completion, potential career progression includes roles like Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Room Leader, Childminder, or Nanny.
