About the role
Start your career in professional cooking at The Townhouse in Alresford. This apprenticeship offers comprehensive training in all aspects of cooking, allowing you to develop your skillset under the guidance of experienced and talented Chefs. You will work as part of a team, adhere to food hygiene practices, and be involved in food preparation and production. Maintaining high standards, reviewing menus and inventory, and preparing a variety of meals will be key responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional kitchen environment and progress towards becoming a Head Chef.
Entry requirements
- Desired GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or Functional Skills Level 2 in English and Maths. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation skills, team working abilities, creativity, initiative, patience, and basic cooking skills are essential. A passion for cooking is highly valued.
