Nursery Educator Apprentice

About the role

Willowdown Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS/Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to help bring an innovative curriculum to life, maintaining discipline and engaging pupils of all abilities. You will support teaching and learning across the school, working with individual pupils, small groups, and whole classes. This role offers valuable experience with children of different abilities, helping them access the curriculum and progress. You will gain an understanding of safeguarding, child development, classroom management, and supporting children with additional needs. Key responsibilities include assisting teachers in planning and delivering learning activities, supporting pupils' engagement, and promoting their wellbeing and independence. You will also assist with resource preparation, classroom displays, and supervision. This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience within a school setting with potential career progression.

Entry requirements

• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade 4/C or above, or equivalent. Skills required include organisation, number skills, teamwork, initiative, and patience.
