Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3 Early Years Educator

About the role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone with some prior knowledge and experience within a nursery or school setting, and especially someone passionate about childcare and early years, looking to further their career.

Duties include providing excellent activities that ensure children learn through play, supporting children's learning and development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the environment and resources, preparing food, supporting children's self-help needs, being creative and enthusiastic, following safeguarding rules, and adhering to all health and hygiene requirements. You will also undertake first aid and other relevant training as required.

Upon completion, you will develop into a Level 3 Early Years Educator, with the potential for a permanent position. There is also potential for progression into other childcare-oriented roles such as social work, teaching, or managerial positions.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Creativity, initiative, patience, and a non-judgemental attitude are highly valued.
