About the role
This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education. The role involves providing engaging activities for children, supporting their learning and development through planning and observations, preparing and maintaining the learning environment and resources, preparing meals, and supporting children's self-help needs. The apprentice will be creative, enthusiastic, and adhere to safeguarding and health and hygiene regulations. Training will include a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and Paediatric First Aid, with remote training sessions and tutor support. Upon successful completion, the apprentice will become a Level 3 practitioner with potential for a permanent position and future career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to be creative, show initiative, and be non-judgemental.
