About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to join The Children's Society as an AAT Finance Apprentice. You will gain hands-on experience in a range of finance tasks, including leading the entry of accounting transactions, reconciling bank and supplier accounts, and supporting the month-end process. You will also play a role in maintaining finance policies and managing corporate credit cards.

This role is ideal for individuals with strong GCSEs in Maths and English (grades 9-5), excellent communication, IT, and organisational skills, as well as a keen attention to detail. You will be working towards an AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, covering financial accounting, management accounting, tax processes, and business awareness. Upon completion of the 2-year fixed-term contract, there is potential for progression within the organisation or support for external development. The Children's Society is a vital organisation supporting children and young people, and this apprenticeship is part of their exciting finance transformation journey.
