About the role

This is an Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship opportunity with TaxAssist - Broxbourne (Samar Accountants) located at 7 The Precinct, High Road, Broxbourne, Hertfordshire, EN10 7HY. The apprenticeship is for 1 year, starting and closing on 2026-11-25. The role involves using accounting software, digital systems for accurate and timely information, ensuring cybersecurity and data protection, safeguarding against suspicious activity, keeping up-to-date with statutory obligations and best practice, working with colleagues and clients to meet needs, and maintaining accurate financial and accounting records. The training will be delivered by SOLVEWAY LIMITED, working towards the Assistant Accountant apprenticeship standard. Progression to the AAT Level 4 Professional Accounting Technician apprenticeship is possible. Desired entry requirements include GCSE English and Maths at grade 4, along with strong communication, organisation, customer care, administrative, problem-solving, and team-working skills.
