About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become an Early Years Educator at Level 3. You will gain hands-on experience in a professional setting, working with experienced staff to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities for young children. Key responsibilities include promoting learning through play in line with the EYFS framework, creating a safe and stimulating environment, and assisting with daily routines such as mealtimes and toileting. You will also learn to observe and monitor children's progress, record observations, and contribute to development plans. Effective communication with colleagues, parents, and children is essential, as is adherence to safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Initiative, creativity, and a non-judgemental, patient approach are also highly valued. Upon completion, you will be a qualified practitioner, with clear pathways for career progression into senior roles like Room Leader, Deputy Nursery Manager, or Nursery Manager, and further advanced qualifications.
