About the role
This apprenticeship is an excellent opportunity for individuals with prior experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years education and wish to advance their careers. The role involves providing engaging activities that promote learning through fun, supporting children's development through planning and observation, preparing and maintaining the learning environment, and assisting children with their self-help needs. The apprentice will be expected to be creative, enthusiastic, adhere to safeguarding rules, and undergo First Aid training. Health and hygiene standards are paramount. Upon completion, apprentices will achieve a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, with potential for a permanent position and further career progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above. Excellent communication, organisational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential. Creative thinking, initiative, a non-judgemental attitude, and patience are also required.
