About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Production Chef at The Swan Inn. You will be involved in all aspects of food preparation and cooking, from setting up ingredients to plating dishes. Key responsibilities include following recipes and portion control, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety, assisting with stock rotation and kitchen organisation, and working collaboratively with the kitchen team during busy periods. The role requires excellent communication and teamwork skills, the ability to follow instructions, punctuality, and a genuine passion for cooking. The training will be delivered at The College of West Anglia, with day release once a week. Upon successful completion, there is potential to continue in a chef role.
